Loraine B. ThompsonPHILO: Loraine B. Thompson, 72, of Philo, passed away at 4:52 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born on October 2, 1940, in Hepzibah, WV, a daughter of the late David T. and Agnes A. Criss Angler. She had worked for Lear Corp. for 42 years. She was a loving housewife and mother who loved to cook for her family and friends. Surviving are three sons, Lacy Thompson (Jewel) Covert of South Carolina, Rex Thompson of the home and Eddie (Teresa) Thompson of Roseville; three daughters, Lisa Thompson Swauger of Philo, Dana (Kelly) Wayne of Rose Farm and Stacy Thompson (Will) Tupuola of Zanesville; 11 grandchildren, Clint Covert, R.J. Thompson, Lakin Patterson, Lacy (Mandy) Thompson, Christina Thompson, Aleesha Swauger, Cassandra Swauger, Austin Wayne, Ryan Wayne, Darian Tupuola and Zackery Tupuola; a great- grandchild, Maxx Thompson; two brothers, Butch Moore and Jim Moore; a sister, Maxine Stalnaker; and other numerous nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her soul mate of 52 years, Lacy Thompson, Jr., who passed away on November 27, 2012; a granddaughter, Chelsey Danial Thompson; three sisters, Mae Morgan, Darline Moore, and Diana Moore; two brothers, Dick Moore, Doc Moore, and Sonny Moore; a sister-in-law, Peggy Moore; a special aunt, Della Moore; and an aunt, Flo Criss.Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 33 N MAIN ST., ROSEVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013 at the funeral home with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating.
