Lorenzo "Stickiron" Davis Calimente, beloved resident of Holcomb, Kansas, peacefully passed away on September 6, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on July 28, 1935, Lorenzo lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering resilience. He was known for his gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering commitment to his community. Lorenzo will always be remembered for his passion for gardening, love of music, dedication to his faith and to helping others. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Lorenzo's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.

Lorenzo was preceded in death by his parents; son Jimmy Davis; daughters: Shirley Davis and Patty Salcadio; grandson Travis Hendrickson; brother James Davis; sister Thelma Jean Davis; and stepdaughter Joanna Lynn White.

Lorenzo is survived by his wife Caroletta Davis, son Ray Lee Davis (Sharon) of Waterlou, NY; daughter Tammy Rogers (Troy) of Dumas, TX; stepson Danny Gay (Lisa) of Galt, CA; stepdaughters: Mildred Ellsworth of Grainfield and Evelyn Hendrickson (Lloyd Cochran) of Bennington. Roy is also survived by 23 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren, and several Great Great Grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen. A graveside memorial service on the private land that has been in the family for generations will be held on Tuesday October 8, 2024. This will be a private service for family only.

Donation organizations will be announced in Chapel.
