It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Loretta McKay, who was born on March 25, 1946, in Catoosa, Oklahoma. She peacefully left this world on November 30, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Loretta was a beloved member of the Catoosa community, known for her kind heart and generous spirit. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, John McKay, her children Tim, Patrick, and Kenneth , and her grandchildren Kelsi, Shawn, Harley, Heather, and Mary Anne. Loretta was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always putting her family first and creating cherished memories with them.

Throughout her life, Loretta was known for her passion for gardening, cooking, and knitting. She had a green thumb and could often be found tending to her beautiful garden, which was admired by all who saw it. Her delicious home-cooked meals and cozy knitted blankets brought warmth and comfort to those around her.

Loretta will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering faith, and her ability to bring light into the lives of others. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

May she rest in peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Loretta McKay will forever be remembered for the love and joy she brought to the world.
