Lorine N. Atkinson1925 - 2015Lorine N. Atkinson, 89, of Kenosha, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at her home.She was born on Dec. 11, 1925, in Corinth, Miss., the daughter of the late Lorenzi and Ella (Parvin) Allen.She was educated in the schools of Mississippi. She married Freeman Atkinson on March 18, 1949, in Corinth, Miss. She was a homemaker who loved to garden and can tomatoes, and spending time with her family. She loved to collect Avon and Hallmark collectables, and loved country music.Survivors include her five children, Jimmie Atkinson of Kenosha, Julia (Ezequiel) Leo of Racine, Eugene Atkinson of Kenosha, Jennifer Lynch of Kenosha, and Marilyn Atkinson of Kenosha; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Freeman; and five brothers, William, Roy, Sam Clarence, Terry; and her daughter-in-law Jeanine Atkinson.Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services, with a funeral service to follow 6 p.m. Burial will be at Forrest Memorial Park, in Corinth, Miss.Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory8226-Sheridan Rd.
