BAKER Lorraine Elizabeth, age 71, died September 13, 2016 at Saint Joseph's East Hospital. She was born on December 25, 1994 in Bronx, New York, and raised in Deland, Florida along with her siblings. After the birth of her first child, she moved to Lexington, Kentucky in October 1968 where she raised her family, and resided there until her death. After moving to Kentucky, Lorraine came into contact with Jehovah's Witnesses where she learned about her Heavenly Father, Jehovah. The more she was helped to learn about her Creator, the closer she drew to Him, and eventually became one of his baptized Witnesses (Isaiah 43:10). She remained one of his faithful servants until her death. Lorraine is survived by three children: Kevin Baker, Dea Baker and Troy Baker, 2 grandchildren: Halayah and Tobias, and 3 siblings: Barbara Taylor, Cleveland Cussack and Lestly Cussack. She was preceded in death by her parents Cleveland and Elizabeth Cusack, and 3 siblings: Lottie Perkins, Cleota Cusack and Camelia Cusack. From an early age, Lorraine displayed an artistic spirit. Among her interests was a love for poetry and music. She is a published poet, and composed and sang country music. A memorial service will be held Saturday September 24, 2016 at the University Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses on 1324 Viley Road in Lexington, Kentucky.
