Lorraine E. (Barrelle) Seabolt, 95, formerly of Commodore and Beccaria, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Crystal Waters Personal Care Home in Home.The daughter of Henry E. and Mary (Harrington) Barrelle, she was born on Dec. 10, 1920, in Smoke Run, Clearfield County.Lorraine attended the New London Grade School and was a graduate of the Beccaria Township High School (now known as Glendale High School), where she was on the girls' basketball team.She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church (located on Route 286 near Clymer).Lorraine was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star Houtzdale Philipsburg Chapter and the Daughters of the Nile in Altoona.In her younger adult years, she had been employed at the General Cigar Company in Philipsburg and at Sylvania in Houtzdale, where she assisted in the manufacturing of TV tubes.Lorraine married Richard Q. Seabolt on July 12, 1941, and they shared 60 years of marriage before his death on January 13, 2002.She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Semple and husband Larry of Smoke Run and Lori Pollock and husband Mark of Marion Center; three grandchildren, Larry Alan Semple of Zionsville, Crystal Dawn Smith and husband Neal of Monroeville and Miranda Joy Pollock of New Orleans, Louisiana; seven grandchildren, Jessica Greaser and husband Ryan, Lauren Stroman and husband James, Elissa Agar and husband Kevin, Paul Jacob Semple, Taylor Martin and husband Cody and Olivia Smith and Lucy Smith; six great-grandchildren, Nadiya, Lydia and Wyatt Greaser, Caleb Agar, Allison Semple and Aiden Martin; a sister-in-law, Winifred Kizina and husband Bernard of Philipsburg; and many nieces and nephews.She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.In addition to her husband and parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by three grandsons, Barry Curtis Semple, Scott Richard Semple and Jared Hugh Pollock; a granddaughter-in-law, Cathy (Cochran) Semple; her brother, Henry Barrelle; her sister, Beatrice Johns; her half-brothers and half-sisters, Della Kidd, John Mulheron, Alec Mulheron, Gladys Reep and Jean Munchak; her brother-in-law, Philip Seabolt; and her three sisters-in-law, Bertha Green, Mary Groom and Doris Antonecchia.Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, and again from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, where a 2 p.m. funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016. Rev. Dr. Daryl S. Jeffers will officiate.
