Lorraine Florence NeversAGE: 57 • GladstoneLorraine Florence Nevers, 57, of Gladstone, NJ passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017. Lorraine was born on May 8, 1960 in Summit, NJ. She grew up in Morristown and lived in Chatham before moving to Gladstone. Lorraine was a contemporary oil painter who received her B.A. at Fairleigh Dickinson University where she studied under Professor Arie Galles.Lorraine loved the outdoors, including skiing and being near the water. She enjoyed visiting the ocean and boating near Mantoloking, Manasquan and Sandy Hook. She loved to travel to exotic and adventurous places. Lorraine's passion in life was painting.Lorraine is survived by her brother, John Edward Nevers, Jr. and wife Adriana, her niece, Clara Nevers and nephew, John Red Nevers. She was predeceased by her father, John E. Nevers, Sr. and mother, Renate Massaker.A celebration of Lorraine's Life will include a memorial gathering on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 1-2 PM followed by a 2 pm service at the William J.
