Lorraine S. KazinskiDecember 4, 1937 - July 11, 2017ChambersburgLorraine S. Kazinski, 79, died peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 4, 1937 in Wilkes Barre, the daughter of the late Walter and Sophia (Mazaika) Wegrzynowicz. She is survived by her husband, Edward Kazinski; their children, David Kazinski of Chambersburg, Susan Hanson (and husband, Eric) of Glen Rock, Michael Kazinski (and wife, Denise) of Castle Rock, CO, and Kevin Kazinski, also of Castle Rock; seven grandchildren, Justin (and wife, Nikole), Mikayla, Kierra, John, Annika, Ryan, and Brady; one great-grandson, Samuel; her sister, Mary Ann Pistack of Wilkes Barre; her brother, Walter Wegrzynowicz (and wife, Marianne) of Jermyn, PA; brother-in-law, Robert Kazinski (and wife, Cindy) of Larksville; as well as many other family members and friends. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lily; and her brother-in-law, Edward Pistack.Lorraine loved spending time with her family, and she also enjoyed painting. Additionally, she had a great passion for volunteer work, most notably with the House of Grace since its inception 18 years ago, with Pregnancy Ministries Inc. (PMI) for 14 years, and with Menno Haven for 13 years.Funeral services to honor her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, with Rev. Lawrence Metzler officiating. Interment will follow the service in Corpus Christi Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the House of Grace, 307 LWE Chambersburg, PA 17201.
