Lorraine M. WilliamsonFREMONT: Lorraine M. Williamson, 92, passed away on Tues., Jan. 3, 2017 at Elmwood Assisted Living in Fremont. She was born on August 29, 1924 in Oak Harbor to Charles and Mabel (Asper) Cutcher.Lorraine was a 1942 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. She was an office clerk at Erie Proving Grounds during WWII. After the war, she worked at Eveready for a while eventually becoming employed at Eaton for 23 years until her retirement 1989.Lorraine enjoyed going to flea markets, doing yard work, completing crossword puzzles and dancing. She loved to cook, and baking pies was her specialty. On Jan. 18, 1943, Lorraine married Warren Williamson in Fremont. They shared 36 years of marriage until his passing in February of 1979. Surviving are children, Sandi Wells and Chris Williamson both of Fremont; 5 grandchildren, Angie (Andy) Petzinger, Erik Wells, Ashley (Brock) Hansen, Shane Pitchford and Jason Pitchford and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Pitchford who passed in Aug. 2015; son, Kenneth Ray Williamson who passed in May 1962; siblings, Harmon, Dora Hoskins, Lois Miller and Velma Leslie half-siblings, Marie Fealtman, Helen LaFountain, Beatrice Whipple, Ralph Evans; and granddaughter, Kelly Wells who passed Nov. 1992.Visitation will be held on Thurs., Jan. 5, 2017 at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Fri., Jan. 6, 2017 at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. where there will be an additional hour of visitation prior to the start of the service.
