Lorraine Norma Robinson passed away on January 26, 2015. She was 85 years old.Lorraine was born on November 19, 1929, in Klamath Falls, OR to William Mautz and Pauline Hach. She graduated high school in Garrison, ND and married Lyle Robinson shortly after. She worked for the State of Alaska, Department of Education from 1967 until she retired in 1980. She loved dogs and enjoyed scrapbooking, visiting with family and friends, decorating her home for every holiday, and rearranging her furniture, which she continued to do well into her 80s.Lorraine is survived by daughter Vicki Peres (Kelly) of Juneau; sons Scott Robinson (Teresa) of Juneau, and Timothy Robinson of Sitka; grandchildren David Honeycutt of Omaha, NE; Barbara Parkhurst, of Marysville, WA; Shannon Kent, Amy Roemer, Andrea Robinson, Ashlee Hamilton, and Alex Robinson of Juneau; Sarah Robinson of Lafayette, CO, and Kelli Robinson of Louisville, CO. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Kayla Fisher, Kendra Fisher, Sage Davenport, Cassidy Davenport, Bailey Davenport, Sydney Sabin, Samantha Sabin, Trevin Carley, Tenlee Newton, Teagan Walsh, Isiah Bonham, Cooper Hamilton, Niko Sweat and Spencer Sweat; and great-great-grandchild Kalix Baines.Lorraine was predeceased by husband Lyle Robinson, daughter Patricia Robinson, and infant son William.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Auke Bay Bible Church, 11970 Glacier Highway; reception to follow.
