GREENWOOD - Lorraine W. Torbert passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016. Mrs Torbert was born on Feb. 23, 1928 in Milford, the daughter of the late Daniel W Wisseman and Nancy Willey Wisseman. Mrs. Torbert was a lifetime resident of Greenwood, a member of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and long time member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jane Hershberger. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Harry Nelson Torbert; her children, Donnie (Charlotte) Torbert, Keith (Shelly) Torbert, and Lisa (Elwood) Driscoll all of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will take place on Friday, Nov. 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood United Methodist Church, 101 West Market Street, Greenwood, where friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lorraine's name can be made to the Greenwood United Methodist Church. Arrangements will be handled by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
