Louella Frances SchultzDecember 24, 1941 - March 5, 2017Salem, Oregon - Louella Frances Schultz, 75, a resident of Salem, passed away on March 5, 2017. Lou was born on December 24, 1941 in Tulare, California and grew-up in Earlimart, California. She was the youngest of 8 children born to Loyd and Ora Jane (Dufur) Delay. Lou was a homemaker and was married to Joe Scialo for 29 years. After the death of her husband in 1995, Lou was blessed to meet and marry Conrad Schultz in 2008. Together Conrad and Lou loved life together. Conrad was a direct answer to prayer and was welcomed with love into a large, loud, and loving family. Lou was an avid reader, game player, and a fierce competitor. However she was the most passionate about her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lou is survived by her husband Conrad and by her children Todd Eichman, Tonja Hultberg (Larry), Tamar Scialo, and Tyler Scialo-Lakeberg (Don); grandchildren Nicholas Hultberg (Dana), Casey Hultberg, and Kate Hultberg; great-grandchildren Colt Hultberg, Piper Hultberg, and Bear Hultberg. She is also survived by her sisters Laverne Gary and Ruby Hensley; and by her brother Loyd Delay. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she adored.A Viewing will be held Friday, March 10 from 5-8 pm at Howell Edwards Doerksen with Rigdon-Ramson Funeral Directors, 1350 Commercial ST SE, Salem, Oregon. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 11 at 2 pm at South Salem Church of the Nazarene, 1661 Boone Rd SE, Salem, Oregon.
