Louis Dominguez Miranda, 71, went home to the Lord on October 3, 2019. He was born on April 3, 1948 to Rudy and Katie Miranda in Corpus Christi, Texas. Louis is survived by his wife Glenda and his 7 children, Joe, Stephanie, Minerva, Louis, Daniela, Gabriela and David. Along with 13 grandchildren, Paige, Erin, Taylor, Nicole, Marc, Eric, Ryan, Isabella, Andrew, Olivia, Ellie, Emilia, Erica and 4 great-grandchildren, Kaidence, Aubree, Paxton and Barrett.
Louis was a proud retiree of 42 years from the United States Post Office and also a United States Army Veteran. Throughout his life, he was an avid sports fanatic but was especially passionate about baseball. He could always be found at the ball park umpiring or running up and down the basketball courts refereeing. In his later years, working at Minute Maid Park just to see his Houston Astros. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and tagged along whenever he could. Louis will always be remembered as a big time jokester, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
