Louis Duckworth, also known as "Lovable Louie," peacefully passed away on December 25, 2024, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born on April 1, 1932, Louie lived a full and happy life surrounded by love and laughter.

He married his beloved wife Ruth in 1955, and together they raised a beautiful family of five children: Donna, Brian (married to Eliza), Karen, Todd (married to Monica), and Daniel (married to Dianna). Louie was also a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren, Brooke, Erich, Danny, Alex, Kate, Aaron, Adam, Amanda, Curt, Tim, Sarah , Preston. He was also a great grandfather to 8 and a great, great grandfather to 6.

In his professional life, Louie dedicated many years to Carrier Plumbing & Heating, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. He also served in the Army as a Private, showing his commitment to his country.

Outside of work, Louie had many hobbies that brought him joy. He was an avid fisherman and skilled woodworker, creating beautiful pieces for his loved ones to cherish.

Louie will be remembered for his infectious smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
