Louis G. MariniAGE: 94 • MarltonLouis G. Marini, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on March 17, 2017. Louis was born on April 15, 1922 to the late Samuel and Caroline (nee Ambrose) Marini in Camden, NJ and was married to the late Anna M. Marini (nee Devone) on March 3, 1946. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in 2016 before Anna passed away eight months later in November 2016.Louis was a World War II veteran with the U.S. Marine Corps and saw combat at Bougainville, Guam and Iwo Jima. Following his military service, Louis attended the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and graduated from Peirce College in Philadelphia, PA.He was co-founder of Suntemp Industries and Domestic Industries in Blackwood, NJ. He served as president of Cosmopolitan International Club of South Jersey, raising funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Association, Toys for Tots, and Eagles Fly for Leukemia. Louis was an avid golfer and belonged to several country and golf clubs throughout New Jersey. A longtime member of Tavistock Country Club, he golfed there for over 48 years.Louis is survived by his son, Samuel L. Marini (Linda), daughters Catherine M. Trecartin (Burdell) and Michele Marini Pittenger (Kerry), grandsons Ryan and Adam Trecartin, and granddaughters Alexandra M. Concolino (Anthony) and Kelly Pittenger.A private viewing and mass were held for Louis on March 21, 2017.
