Celebrating The Life, Honoring The Memory,
Commemorating The Legacy
Louis “Louie” Lamar Fields Jr entered this world a happy bouncing baby boy on November 18, 1990, to parents Louis Fields Sr and Sonya Evans. Growing up in North Houston and Acres Homes, Louie was a loving young man who never ended a conversation, phone call, or text without saying “I Love You.”
Louie attended Houston Public Schools, excelling in the classroom and earning a diploma in general studies from Klein Forest High School before continuing his education at Houston Community College. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved animals and working with his hands. Louis had a passion for jogging and could often be found running through the streets of Houston, enjoying the fresh air and staying active. Though Louis did not have any children of his own, he will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and love for life.
May he rest in peace.
On March 5, 2025, Louie was embraced and welcomed by his Lord and Savior. He reunites with his maternal great-grandparents Florinza and Willie C. Evans, uncles Calvin and Craig Evans, cousin Christopher Devain Harland, paternal great-grandmother Geraldine Fields (Nana), and paternal uncle Anthony Marquis Mims.
Louie leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother Sonya Evans. father Louis Fields, stepfather Alfred Dennis, sister Laquieshia and Johnnisha Evans, brother Tavan and Edwin Evans, uncle Darrion Dennis, maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
As we bid farewell to Louis “Louie” Fields Jr, find comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness and unwavering love.
