Louis O’Neal, age 85, of Brunswick, GA, passed away peacefully at his home on November 15, 2024, due to congestive heart failure. Born on January 5, 1939, Louis dedicated much of his life to his country, serving in the U.S. Army. His commitment to service was deeply respected within the military community.

After retiring from the military, he continued to share his passion for the outdoors through fishing, a hobby that brought him great joy and peace. Louis was a devout member of the Baptist faith, consistently involved in his church activities and community.

He is survived by his children, LuAnne O'Neal and Scott O'Neal; grandchildren Ashley O'Neal, Haley O'Neal, Patrick O'Neal, Jessica Todd, and TJ Todd; several great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Darlene and Robert O'Neal, and his brothers, Ronald and John O'Neal.

Graveside services to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Brunswick, GA, where he will be accorded full military honors, acknowledging his service and dedication to his country.
