SAN ANGELO - Louisa S. Pearson, age 83, of San Angelo, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, in a local hospital. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13, in Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with the Rev. Ben Hubert of First Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ozona, Texas. Louisa was born on Feb. 8, 1921, in Dublin, Texas, to William Carl and Dora Snead Sturdivant. Louisa married Roy G. Pearson on Feb. 14, 1937, in Shreveport, La. She was a cost accountant for Osage Services for many years. After retiring she found another activity she very much enjoyed and kept it up until her early eighties. She was very active in the Women's Auxiliary of Shannon's Hospital. Louisa was also very proud of the fact that she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Louisa was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth P. Thornton on April 16, 1998; and her husband, Roy G. Pearson on March 26, 2000. She was preceded in death also by a sister, Glenna Fisher in 2002. She is survived by her son, Don Pearson of San Angelo; sisters, Jane Ward of Kerrville, Phyllis Williamson of Dallas and Marguerite White of Dallas; grandchildren, Robin Pearson of San Angelo, Ginna Pearson of Fort Worth, Joey and wife, Luann Pierce, of Ozona and Christopher Thornton and wife, Tiffany, of Austin; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
