Louise A. HessBonita Springs, FLLouise A. Hess, 79, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Bonita Springs, Florida. Louise was born on May 19, 1937 in New York City to Ann and Michael Fresolone. She married the love of her life, William E. Hess on May 30, 1959, and lived a full and happy life. Louise earned a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, in Liberal Arts and Women's Studies from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH in 1992. At graduation she was honored with an award for the "Most Outstanding Student."An accomplished author, Louise published four books; Something Yummy: Treasured Family Recipes, Apple Blossom Time: An Autobiography in Prose & Poetry, Bouquet: A Dozen Short Stories, and her latest work, a book of poetry called Something to Think About that she co-authored with her granddaughter, Jennifer.A teacher, lifelong learner, and avid painter, Louise was known as being very creative, inspiring, and inclusive. With her love of reading, she was a member of several local book clubs. She enjoyed taking care of her plants, the beach, and listening to the sound of the waves.She leaves her fond memories to be cherished by her loving husband of 57 years, William E. Hess, loving son, William E. Hess, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Westfield, MA, loving daughter, Carol Ann Hess of Spring, Texas. Grandchildren: William E. Hess, III, Jennifer E. Hess, Philip B. Nickels, and Alex H. Nickels. Other family members surviving Louise include, Richard Green, Lena & Dominic Circosta, Paddy & Anita Genuso, Isabell Insogna, Bellarie McAndrews, Mary Aksel, Kitty & Hank Kastler.Details of a gathering for family and friends will be shared at a future date.In memory of Louise A.
