Peters , Louise M.Louise M. Peters, age 73, of Rudolph, Wisconsin, passed away Friday May 26, 2017 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.Funeral services for Louise will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Rudolph, Wisconsin. Father Dave Bruener will officiate the service. The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday evening from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids and again on Thursday morning at the church from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Rudolph. Louise was born on January 13, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Anton and Helen (Czopeck) Markech. She married Ronald S. Peters on August 9, 1969 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Louise graduated from UW-Madison with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She worked as a nurse for Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids and the Wood County Public Health Office. She was also a partner in 4 Stitches craft store. Louise enjoyed all types of crafting, from needlework and crocheting to calligraphy. She was a Cub Scout den mother, was the scorekeeper for Ron when he coached baseball and served countless hours as a volunteer in concession stands and for the music association at Assumption High School. She was honored for her service with a plaque of recognition from Assumption. Most of all, Louise enjoyed spending her time with family, especially her grandkids. Louise is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ron, her children Douglas (Missy) Peters of Le Claire, IA, Michael (Tonia) Peters of Cross Plains, WI. and Toni Peters of Onalaska, WI; grandchildren Kylie, Kaitlyn, Alex, Anton and Lucas. She is further survived by her sister Barbara Wermersen.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Richard Wermersen.Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is assisting the family with arrangements.
