Louise Margaret HolappaBonita Springs, FLLouise Margaret Holappa of Bonita Springs, Florida, age 86, passed away June 17th, 2017. She spent most of her life in Huntington, West Virginia where she was born on September 22nd, 1930. Parents were John W. Averill and Alice (Honey) Ghiz Averill. She attended high school in Montgomery, West Virginia and graduated from the Huntington School of Business. She took classes at Marshall University. She retired from Huntington Alloys after 25 years of service, concluding her career as an Advertising Representative. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Huntington for 35 years. She was on the Board of the Habitat for Humanity and the Huntington City Mission. After retiring, she started Ellgee Floral Designs where she designed pressed flower pictures for 10 years. She was more recently an Associate Member of Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church for 18 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Holappa; daughter Beverly Mease-Buxton and her husband, Larry; son Rodney Mease and his wife, Wendy; half-sister Liz White and half-brother, Jack Averill. She is also survived by grandsons Garrett Buxton, Tyler Buxton, Andrew Mease and Bradley Mease; step-grandson Beau Butler; step-children Todd Holappa and Carrie Kunz and their spouses and children. Her memorial service will be on June 21st at 2:00 at Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church, Naples. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity, or City Mission in Huntington, WV. There will be a service in Huntington in August.
