Louise Welch, 80, of Basile, Louisiana, passed on August 08, 2023. Thelma was born on June 19, 1943.Thelma was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She will be lovingly remembered by her five sons, Dale Welch of Lafayette, Mike Welch of Basile, Pat Welch and spouse of San Antonio Texas, Darrell Welch of Sulphur, and Kent Welch and spouse of Baton Rouge; her six daughters Tessie Welch and spouse of New Orleans, Darlene Berger and spouse of Temple, TX, Agnes Ray of Mamou, Becky McCann of Lake Charles, and Diana Broussard and spouse of Sulphur, and Sue Welch of Mamou. Also mourning her loss is numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Now she rests in heaven with her husband Paul Welch Jr and her parents Andrew and Lucile Veronie; her sons Gary Fontenot and Tommy Boudreaux.
