Lowell Dale Fryer, of Rolla, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the age of 81.He was born on May 7, 1935 in Maries County, MO to the late Lowell M. Fryer and Genevieve (Heimbaugh) Fryer. He married Ethel May (Giesler) Fryer who preceded him in death on November 3, 2008.Lowell was employed at McDonnell Douglas and Holsum Bakery. In earlier years he worked in construction with his father. . Lowell retired after 20 years with the Rolla Public Schools as a school bus driver. He enjoyed farming, cutting wood, fishing and hunting.Lowell will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: two sons, Larry Allen Fryer (Theresa) and Darren Utah Fryer (Reba), both of Rolla; one brother, Luther Fryer (Sheila) of Rolla; two sisters, Brenda Fryer and Deloris Lee (Basil), both of Rolla; six grandchildren, Christopher Wayne Fryer (Hannah), Matthew Dale Fryer (Krissy), Hannah Elizabeth Marie Fryer, Robin Lynn Blackwell (Josh), Reva May Walker and fiancée Michael Clark, and Kevin Alan Walker; and ten great grandchildren; Hailey Fryer, Aspynn Schawane, McKinnlee Fryer, Rowdy Dale Fryer, Keiley Fryer, Eric Lee Royal, Lillian Marie Royal, Cody Adam Royal, Olivia Blackwell and Travis Walker.A funeral service for Lowell Dale Fryer will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Skaggs Chapel Cemetery in Lanes Prairie, MO. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29 at the funeral home.
