Loy F. HustonLANCASTER: Loy "Bud" Franklin Huston, age 88, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born on September 9, 1927 to the late Jesse Raymond and Mary (Wagner) Huston in Marion TWP, Hocking County, and a 1944 graduate of Rushville High School, in a class of 8 members. He was a
WWII Veteran who honorably served in the Unites States Navy during the Asiatic/Pacific Occupation. He was a retired employee of the Anchor Hocking Corporation for 37 years, working as a shipping department administrator. Bud was a member of the Lancaster Fraternal Order of Eagles and a life-long member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. He enjoyed discussing politics, reading, and visiting with his neighbors. As of late, his favorite past-time was enjoying the company of his "mall walking buddies." He loved being a grandfather and a great grandfather. He is survived by sons, Roger (Susie) of Sugar Grove and Ron (Mary) of West Simsbury, CT; grandchildren, Audrey (Brian) Meixner, Ethan Huston, Margaret Huston, Justin Kane, fiance', Molly Huston, and Melissa (Noah) Huston Burk, great-grandchildren, Clara Meixner, Henry Meixner, and Olivia Kane; sister, Florence Huston Kachel, sister and brother-in-law, Flora and Pat Agosta; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Leona Anderson, sisters, Forest Weis, Mabel Uhl and Ethel Roush, brothers, Harold Huston and Roland (Bus) Huston. Funeral services will be held 1:00p.m. Friday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Roger Quay officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens where the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail will conduct military graveside services.
