Lucia Maria RodriguezSeptember 20, 1959 - September 29, 2015Our beloved mother, sister and grandmother, Lucia "Lucy" Rodriguez, passed away on September 29, 2015, at home in Caldwell. Lucy was born on September 21, 1959 to Lucio and Sarah Rodriguez, in Caldwell and was the youngest of nine sisters. Lucy was very outgoing and her passion in life was helping others. Dancing was her passion. She enjoyed going dancing at the "Blue Eye" and she loved the music. Beloved mother, sister and grandmother, we will miss you with all of our hearts but we know that you are at peace in our Lord's loving hands. Lucy is survived by her children, Isabel (Armando) Ortiz and Danny (Katie) Baez and her sisters, Maria Rodriguez of Houston, TX, Juanita Rodriguez, Sarah Rivera, Julia Flores and Elida Sanchez all of Caldwell, ID, Lupita Shockley of Salt Lake City, UT and Rosie Melendrez of Vale, OR. She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Sarah and Alfonso Baez; her father, Lucia Rodriguez and her sister, Irma Vasquez. A Viewing for Lucy will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 5:00-8:00PM with Rosary Recital at 7:00PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
