Lucille (Fielding) Orrell, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother died at home on February 18, 2009 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on March 11, 1934 in Quay, Oklahoma to Josie (Cornog) and Jennings B. Fielding. She grew up in Quay on the Hoke oil lease in a company house near her Uncle Hap Fielding. Together both families equaled a double dozen. Lucille graduated from Quay High School and went on to attend Draughn Business College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While there she met and fell in love with her future husband, William L. Orrell, who was employed by The McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company. They were married on June 20, 1953 and remained deeply in love for 55 years. To this union were born four daughters. They lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for one year where their first daughter Gayla Chalice was born in July of 1954. Later that year they were employed by Boeing and moved to Seattle and later transferred to Moses Lake, Washington. Their second daughter Stephne Lynn was born in October 1955. Lucille was among the founders of the Moses Lake Christian Church where many dear family friends were made. The next year they returned to Tulsa, Oklahoma where their third daughter, Joni Lea, was born in November 1956. They were rehired by Boeing and moved back to Moses Lake, Washington where Julie Renee was born in August of 1958. They resided in Moses Lake until 1962 when Boeing transferred them to Seattle. Lucille and family made their home in Burien, Washington where they attended Highline Christian Church, establishing many lifelong friends. On the move again, Lucille and family moved to Kirkland, Washington where all four girls graduated from high school and Bill retired from Boeing. In 1986, they moved to Ellensburg to a home that was personally designed and built by Lucille and Bill. Lucille was a member of the First Christian Church congregation and attended the Christian Women's Association. Along with her husband, she became a member of the Naneum Grange and also the Kittitas Field and Stream Club where as the hospitality committee they served refreshments at club meetings. Shortly after moving to Ellensburg, Lucille joined Jolly Neighbors and the Scholarship Luncheon group where she made a lot of new and fascinating friends. In 1998, Lucille and Bill went to Yuma, Arizona for the first time to visit their snowbird friends wintering there. They liked it so much they bought a fifth wheel trailer and in 1999 became winter snowbirds themselves.
