Lucille (Lou) P. Meyer, age 84, formerly of 1028 N. 15th Street, Manitowoc, presently residing at Hannah Home II, 3407 Wildwood Drive, Manitowoc, died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County.She was born on March 14, 1928 daughter of the late Frank and Mae (Eierman) Schrimpf. Lucille was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers, Class of 1946. On November 28, 1953 she married John T. Meyer at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. He preceded her in death on December 28, 2002. Lucille was a crossing guard at the corner of N. 15th and Waldo in Manitowoc safely crossing children to and from school for over 21 years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi, Manitowoc. Lucille was an avid crafter, and with her daughters, sold many crafts from her home. She loved to read and tend to her flowers. She cherished holidays with her family and special family gatherings. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law: Cheryl & Alan Petrashek, Two Rivers, and their children: Nathan Petrashek and his special friend Sarah Gnadt, Kari Hagenow and her husband Tyler; Sandra Waskow, Manitowoc, and her children: Melissa Beaver & her husband Christian, Andrew, Rebecca & her fiance Aaron VanderBloomen, Jennifer & her fiance David Martin; Beverly Meyer, Whitelaw; Debra & Steven Coolidge, DePere, and their children: Kymberly and Christopher; one son and daughter-in-law: Robert & Lois Meyer, Manitowoc, and their children: Nicole and her fiance Phillip Hanke and Casey; three great grandchildren: Noah, Lucian and Sophia; three sisters-in-law: Rosemary La Rosa & her husband, Julius, New York, Caron Hessel & her husband, Thomas, Francis Creek, Carol Mc Manus, Brookfield; and three brothers-in-law: Clarence Meyer Jr. and his wife, Karen, Mishicot, Ronald Meyer, Pembine and James Meyer and his wife, Rose, Two Rivers. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lucille was also preceded in death by a son: Gary Meyer; five brothers: Harvey, Ray, John, Herbert and Joseph Schrimpf and three sisters: Florence Spaeth, Esther Gerl and Carol Courchaine.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev.
