Luella Bates-Washington, 73, of Aurora, Illinois, United States, passed Thursday, January 30, 2020. Luella was born November 19, 1946. Her father Robert H. Bates and sister Debra Masters preceded her in death. Sherri was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt B, but her favorite title was Nan. She loved the outdoors, nature, and gardening, she had an amazing green thumb. Survived by husband Wayne "Shorty" Washington; children: Tararus Morgan, Lamont and wife Michelle Morgan , Lindsi and husband Jesse Grooms,  LaVeshia  and fiancé Johnnie Teel; grandchildren: Destyni, Nakita, Kayla, Wade, Maryland, Asia, Marquise, Jaquavian, Bianca and Travon; great grandchildren: Marcus, Madisyn, Roger, Jerrick, Benisha, Lindsey, Erika, Jayden, Alexis Paisley siblings: Linda and husband Dirk Crawford, Bob and wife Becky Bates, Wendy Stone, Brenda and husband Terry Elam, Ray and wife Teddi Bates, Mary and husband Trey Ormsbee, many nieces & nephews, and many many great and great great nieces & nephews.
