Kenny, Jr., Luke Joseph "Joe"May 22, 1925 - Nov. 28, 2016Luke Joseph "Joe" Kenny, 91, of Sarasota, FL passed away Nov. 28, 2016. He was born on May 22, 1925 in Wyandotte, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Martha Annetta. He is survived by two stepchildren, Bill (Carol) Fletcher and Barbara Vail, two nephews, Richard Hubbard and Tom Hubbard, and two nieces, Yvonne DesMarias and Holly Hubbard. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, followed by a long career in the oil industry with Sinclair Oil and BP Amoco as an accountant. Joe was a parishioner of St. Martha's Catholic Church in Sarasota and a longtime member of the Sarasota Sports Committee. A service will be held Saturday, Dec. 10 at 11:00 am in the Memorial Garden at St. Martha's Church on N. Orange Ave. Guest book located at wiegandbrothers.com.
