This obituary is administered by:

A True Woman of God

We sadly announce the passing of Luvenia Moore, who departed this world on May 18, 2024, in Salisbury, North Carolina. Luvenia was born on November 10, 1937, to her parents Charlie Luther and Lizzie Virginia Ingram who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were sisters: Carrie Wilks(1974) ,Katie Robinson(2007), and Doris Luther(2022) brothers: Charlie Jr(2000), Jimmy Luther(2015), and James Luther(2016)Luvenia was married to Eugene Hollis Moore(2002) in 1979 and they shared many happy years together. Although they did not have any children, their home was never empty. "Aunt Lue" took a part in raising all of her niece's and nephew's. She loved and cared for them like they were her own.Luvenia attended Leak St. High School, where she excelled academically and made lifelong friends. After graduation, she pursued a career as a Residential Manager, where she was known for her exceptional organizational skills and dedication to her work.In her free time, Luvenia enjoyed an array of hobbies such as reading and studying the Bible, creating artificial flower arrangements, baking delicious treats, solving word puzzles, listening to music, shopping for the latest fashion trends, cooking new recipes, and decorating and organizing her home.Luvenia lived life to the fullest, bringing joy and laughter to all those she encountered. Her quick wit and infectious smile will be dearly missed by her family and friends.Luvenia passed away after battling a terminal illness, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.. To You From UsYou didn't leave us, you just moved on a little further. You prepared us all for this day in one way or another. You taught us how to humble ourselves when things go wrong in life. You taught us to love family just because and to be a good husband or wife. You gave us advice and scriptures and always encouraged us to pray. You'd say " Just put it in God's hands and let him have his way." We'll remember you dancing and singing songs we didn't know you knew. We'll remember how you kept everything in order and had to have a puzzle book or two. We'll remember cards for birthdays, anniversary and ones that said get well soon. Though you couldn't drive a car for us you'd go to the moon. We're blessed and grateful to have had your friendship, your kinship and your unconditional love. Though heaven gained an Angel in our hearts you'll always be thought of.Sonya Caldwell
