Lynn Levine Moore, 68, went to be with our Lord on May 19, 2017. She was born on March 8, 1949. Her parents were Marie McCorkle Levine and Jefferson Davis Levine III. She received her B.A. English and Spanish, and M.Ed. Education, emphasis Reading from Texas A & M (formerly East Texas State University) in Commerce, TX . Lynn held a Reading (K-12) Certification along with a Gifted and Talented Certification. Lynn was recognized as Teacher of the Year in 1997 and as Rising Star Award in 1998. Lynn was a retired educator from El Paso, TX and New Mexico. Lynn was married to Thomas Brian Moore, from Philadelphia, PA, on July 18, 1975 at Denver Law School Chapel. Lynn met Tom there and they were married after 7 years of courtship. Tom and Lynn were married forty-one and a half years. She is survived by two sisters: Patricia Donahue (Joe) Chenette, Orlando, FL and Margaret E. Levine, Lewisville, TX and two brother-in-laws: John Moore from Bangor, ME and Tim Moore from Sewell, NJ. She had six nieces and two nephews: Suzanne M. Chenette, Tampa, FL; Rebecca Kilby, KY; Sarah Moore, Cleveland, OH; Rachel Borders, Philadelphia, PA; Jennifer Moore, NY City; Laura Nelson, Turnersville, NJ; Alex Moore, Washington, DC and Joseph Chenette from Ft. Mill, SC. A Celebration of Life for Lynn Moore will be held at Trinity Church, 700 Mt. Capitan Rd, Capitan, NM at 2 pm on Friday, June 16, 2017.In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to an education fund.
