M. Carol MillerSeptember 18, 1942 - August 15, 2014Carol Packer Miller, 71, of McCammon passed away on August 15, 2014. She was the daughter of Newell Packer and Eleanor Foxall Packer. She was born on September 18,1942 in Havre, Montana. The family moved to Pocatello, Idaho where she resided most of her life. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities. Carol attended local schools and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1961. She married her sweetheart Taft Crandell Miller on June 12, 1964 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Carol was a very kind and loving person who gave much service to others. She served in many capacities including Ward Relief Society President, a mission to Little Rock, Arkansas with her husband, and a Billings, Montana and an Idaho Falls Temple worker. She loved any and all church assignments. Carol was a family home evening host up to the time of her death.She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She was a noble and virtuous women. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Taft Albert Miller, one granddaughter, Madilyn Gardner, and one brother, LaMar Packer, and three sisters: LaRene Packer, Lelha Packer, and Marlene Pett.Carol is survived by her children; Tami (Peter) Aagard, Marlene (Gary) Gardner, and Kevin (Robin) Miller and 20 grandchildren and currently 4 great grandchildren. Two sisters: Bonnie (Lynn) Stowell, Janice (Robert) Hunsaker. Three brothers: Milo (Lois) Packer, Gary (Amy) Packer, and David (Pat) Packer.She will be greatly missed, but we are grateful that she will be able to be with the many souls that love her and greeted her at her passing.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the McCammon L.D.S. Stake Center with Bishop Don Bates of the Mountainview Ward officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening August 19, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the McCammon L.D.S. Stake Center and on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Mountainview Cemetery, Pocatello, Idaho.
