M. Olive Shaw, age 92, of Crystal River, FL, passed away on Saturday November 5, 2016 at the Hospice of the Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL. Olive was born on May 18, 1924 in Nova Scotia, Canada to Thomas H Boudrot and Margaret C. Maloney Boudrot.Olive moved to Citrus County in 1987 from Hobart, IN. She was a retired Secretary/Bookkeeper; a member of St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Crystal River, FL and the Alter and Rosary Society of St. Benedicts.In addition to her parents, Olive was preceded in death by her husband Richard Carl Shaw in 2001.Olive is survived by many friends.Mass will be offered at 10 A.M. on Thursday November 10, 2016 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Crystal River, FL. Burial will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, FL is in charge of arrangements.
