M.C. Thomas, 73, of Wilson, North Carolina, passed on April 02, 2023. M.C. was born on January 20, 1950.
Peacefully and quietly, God in His infinite wisdom called our beloved father, brother, grandfather and friend, M.C. Thomas, to answer his Divine beacon, on Saturday April 07,2023
M.C. was born in Batesville, Mississippi on January 20, 1950, to the late Nathaniel Thomas and Betty Ruth Cole. He was blessed to have been surrounded by a lovely and caring family who made sure that his life was complete.
Having spent his formative years in Batesville, Mississippi he was educated in the public school system there and attended Pattonlane High School. A good natured, determined person, M.C. enjoyed living and was loved by all who knew him. He was a dedicated and dependable worker having been employed by S. I. Wooten Construction Company and Bobby Taylor Cement Finishing.
To cherish fond memories of his admirable life, he leaves two daughters, Annette Thomas of Wilson, NC and Neesie Thomas of Capital Heights, Maryland, eleven sisters, Carla Jackson, Carolyn Boothe, Iva Gassion (Albert) and Betty J. Thomas all of Sardis, MS, Cynthia Cummings of Fort Worth, TX, Donna Johnson of Tunica, MS, Elizabeth Brown of Okolona, MS, Lillie Brown and Gail Thomas both of Atlanta, GA, Sammie Ruth Hughes of Batesville, MS, and Betty J. Brown of Houston, TX, one sister, Betty Thomas preceded him in death; five brothers, Nathaniel Thomas Jr., Danny Thomas and Eddie Thomas all of Sardis, MS, Robert Thomas (Samantha) of Memphis, TI, Raymond Thomas of Arlington, TX, William Thomas and John I. Thomas preceded him in death; four grandchildren, Cortney, Destiney, Tanashia and Egypt Thomas; a chlag-muse, Mrs. Jackie Ruffin; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. step child Moneshia Powell

Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
