We are gathered here today to mourn the loss of our beloved Madison Closson, who left this world far too soon on May 17, 2025 in Independence, Missouri.

Madison was born on January 7, 2005 to her parents Scott and Shelly, who always joked that she had a personality bigger than life itself. Madison lived her life to the fullest, always dancing, singing, and helping everyone she could along the way.

She leaves behind her loving partner Peyton, who she would often joke was the peanut butter to her jelly. Although they had no children of their own, Madison was known for her fierce love and devotion to her fur babies.

Madison's infectious laughter and kind spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She always had a joke or a smile ready to brighten someone's day.

Unfortunately, Madison's life was tragically cut short due to homicide. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we can take solace in knowing that she is now dancing and singing with the angels in heaven.

Rest in peace, Madison. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
