Mae Lorraine Garff (McNabb) passed away Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 at her daughter Vickie's home in Bakersfeld, California after a brief battle with cancer.Miss Garff was born on April 28, 1939 in Shoup, Idaho to Maude Blanche McNabb (Tapp) and Henry Burgess McNabb. She was a loving and supportive mother to her children, Douglas Lee Butterfeld, 57, Teresa Mae Renney, 55, Vickie Lee Lowe, 53 and Lorrie Dee Garff, 50, throughout their lives.Late in life Mae worked in the hospitality and service industry for over 12 years. She enjoyed working with the public and bringing a smile to the patrons. She was a hard worker and took pride in her daily accomplishments. Mae loved to travel and being around people made her very happy.Mae received constant and loving care from her son and daughters during her brief illness. Her love and dedication of family was a driving force in the raising of her family. We will miss you forever, Mom.Her husband Franklin DeVal Garff of 31 years of marriage preceded her in death. Mae is survived by her four children, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
