Maebelle LoweryVirginia Beach - Maebelle Lowery, 90, passed away on August 30, 2017. She was born on April 21, 1927 to the late Plummer and Nolar Hunt in Lumberton, North Carolina.Maebelle was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church and the Christian Women's Club.She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years Melton Lowery; sons Anthony Lowery and his wife Maggie; and Buren Lowery and his wife Kathline; brothers James Hunt and Junior Hunt; and four grandchildren Christopher, Annette, Jessica and Katherine.A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach VA. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
