MERIDEN - Magella St. Hilaire (Frenchy), 81, beloved son of the late Charles and Alberta (Faucher) St. Hilaire, passed away at home peacefully with his loving daughters (Papa's Angels) by his side the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016.Magella was born on Nov. 1, 1934, in Saint Luc, Quebec, Canada and lived out most of his years in Meriden. He retired from Vego Larson Construction as a superintendent after 20 years.Magella is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanne and Donald Dominique, of Meriden, Ida and Richard Zimmer, of Southington, and Connie and Mark Brocar, of Bradford, Vt.; one son, Eric Breault, of Berlin, N.H.; one step-daughter and her husband, Ginette and Richard Violette, of Bristol; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Colette St. Hilaire; one brother, Lorenzo St. Hilaire and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Normande St. Hilaire of 38 years; and his first wife, Irene (Breault) St. Hilaire; six sisters; and two brothers.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Entombment will be in Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum in Bristol. Friends and family may call at the John J. Ferry & sons Funeral Home, 88 E.
