It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of our beloved Maggie Terrell, she leaves behind 5 children Terrance Terrell, Felisha Dunson, Curtis Dunson, Sandra Dunson and Cornelius Reeves. She is known to be the ultimate Austell socialite. She was born on May 1, 1946, and sadly left us on August 31, 2023, leaving behind a trail of laughter and joy.
Maggie, a true Austell native, was a force of nature. If there was a party, you can bet she was there, spreading her infectious enthusiasm and twinkling personality. She could effortlessly light up any room with her radiant smile and a knack for telling the most amusing stories.
Known by many as the "Life of the Party," Maggie had an uncanny ability to bring people together. Her legendary backyard barbecues will forever be etched into Austell's history, filled with laughter, mouthwatering delights, and non-stop dancing.
Maggie had an incredible talent for making everyone feel welcome. From her neighbors to complete strangers, she had a natural flair for turning acquaintances into lifelong friends. No one could resist her warm charm and witty banter, making it impossible not to love her.
Aside from her unmatched hosting skills and her ability to throw a killer party, Maggie had a soft spot for animals. She had an ever-growing collection of four-legged friends, and her love for them was boundless. She would often set up fundraisers, ensuring that her furry companions would always have a safe place to call home.
Maggie left an extraordinary impact on Austell and its residents. The city will be a little less lively without her, but her legacy will never be forgotten. She taught us to savor every moment, dance like no one's watching, and to always have a smile ready, even during the toughest times.
Although we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the life that Maggie lived. She would want us to raise a glass, share laughter, and remember her with cheerful memories. So, dear Maggie, may your spirit continue to light up the heavens as you did here on Earth.
Rest in peace, dear mother, grandmother friend
