Maggie B. Hayes, 83, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2009 in Prescott Valley, Arizona. She was born on June 25, 1926 in Coleman, Texas. Maggie was a wonderful woman who cared for her family and home. She was a member of the Church of God in Anderson, Indiana and Church of the Nazarene. Maggie is survived by her son, William Everett (Sondral) Hayes of Yuma; daughter, Vicky B. (Ron) Franklin of Prescott; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Hayes. A visitation will take place at Johnson Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Johnson Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Officiating is Reverend Ed McDonald. Pallbearers will be Ron Hayes, Bob Hayes, R.J. Franklin, Justin Hitson, Ron Franklin, and Everett Hayes. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Ferguson and Gary Gates.
