It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Makayla Brown, who was born on October 11, 2024, in Southern Pines, North Carolina, United States.

Despite her brief time on this earth, Makayla brought immense joy and love to all those around her. She was a bright light in our lives, and her impact will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her loving parents, Marcus Brown and Ticqita Ivy. , but she was cherished by her family

She has siblings that she haven’t met yet but Jazlynn Foster and Joshua Scott has been around her mother‘s whole pregnancy. Her grandparents Lena Ivy James Ivy. she will truly be miss by us all Tragically, Makayla's life was cut short by fluid on her brain, causing it to not function correctly. While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.

Makayla will always hold a special place in our hearts, and her memory will continue to inspire us. May she rest in eternal peace.
