On April 23, 2024, the world lost a remarkable individual, Makayla Marinelli, of South Kingstown, Rhode Island. Born on January 23, 2008, Makayla's 16 years of life were filled with passion, no self respect, people pleasing, and backseat makeouts. She was different, but in a good way!
Makayla attended Bishop Hendricken High School, where she excelled in her studies and graduated with honors in 2024. Her hard work and dedication were evident in everything she did, setting her apart as a natural leader among her peers.
After completing high school, Makayla bravely decided to serve her country by joining the Navy as a Seal. Her commitment to protecting others and serving her country with honor and integrity was truly inspiring to all who knew her. She almost lost her life protecting our home, the USA. God bless America. MAGA Forever.
Outside of her military duties, Makayla had a number of hobbies that brought joy and fulfillment to her life. She had a passion for stalking, spending hours exploring the great outdoors and capturing the snap scores of others and the beauty of nature through her lens.
Some of Makayla’s favorite things included smoking devil’s lettuce and the “Karma” song by artist Jojo Siwa. She disliked people who changed their oil mid makeout, cheaply made Shein clothes, and the fast food restaurant Wendy’s.
Tragically, Makayla's life was cut short by heartbreak. The loss of her beloved Diego Deoliveira weighed heavily on her heart, ultimately leading to her untimely death. Despite the pain she endured, Makayla's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Makayla Marinelli will be deeply missed by her friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched. (No homo lol) Her legacy of courage, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire others for years to come.
