Mali Anne FarmerMali Farmer, 14 of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017, with her family at her side.Mali Anne Farmer, daughter of Timothy and Celia Farmer, was born on June 12, 2002. Mali was a ray of sunshine that lit every room she entered. Dearly loved by her family and friends, she was loved and will be missed by many more. She loved and was very faithful to her church. She was an excellent violinist and liked to play softball, having hit a few home runs last year. Her dogs held a special place in her heart as did all animals. Happy and friendly, Mali was a pleasure to be around. She touched the lives of so many.Grateful for having shared her life are her parents Timothy and Celia, Sioux Falls, SD; siblings Timothy Farmer Jr, Sioux Falls, SD; Amanda Farmer, Sioux Falls, SD; Christopher Stockwell, Portland, OR; grandparents William and Angelina Hickey, Edgewood, NM, grandmother Arlene Lias, Sioux Falls, SD, grandfather Donald Farmer, Sioux Falls, SD; niece Peyton Lilley, Sioux Falls, SD; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; special friends Sophie, Jenna, Delaney, Kiah, Jaden, Abigale, Christin, Morgan, Liz, Cassia, Ellie Nunn, Haley, Anja, Siyanna, Sami, Jade, Anaka, Stacy Sip, Aliyah, Grace, Morgan R., Mr. and Mrs. Iverson, Dr. Walker, Mrs. Mahoney, all of her softball team, all of her teachers at O'Gorman High School, and many other relatives and friends.In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be directed to the Cathedral of St. Joseph or the Sioux Falls Humane Society.Visitation will begin at 12 pm with the family present from 5 to 7 pm and a prayer service beginning at 7 pm on Monday, April 17, 2017, at Miller Westside Chapel, 6200 West 41st Street.
