Malissa Joy Butler was born on April 17, 1989, to the parents of Jennifer and Marvin Butler in Cleveland, Ohio where she lived most of her life up until her late teens when she then moved to Georgia with her mom and older sister Jessica. She attended grade school in Cleveland but was determined to further her education in GA. Although she was diagnosed with diabetes as a young child she never let if defeat her in anyway, she carried on with life through the ups and downs with a smile and sweet childlike voice. To have known her was a blessing. She enjoyed painting and praying which helped to keep her spirits high in times when life seemed to be too much. She was escorted by angels on Aug 7, 2022 where she was reunited with both of her parents who proceeded her in death. She is survived by her beloved sisters Jessica & Andrèa Grandmother Precious, Uncles Wayne Sr & Hughie, cousins Aaron, Wayne Jr & Malcolm, niece Azrael & three nephews Nisaiah, Jalen & Quentin Ill a host of uncles, aunts and cousins in Ohio, Jamaica & Canada
