Marcella Tiggle, beloved resident of Weems, Virginia, United States, passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 80. She was born on September 29, 1943, to the late Harry and Virginia Jenkins. Her passing has left her family, friends, and community devastated, as they mourn the loss of a truly remarkable woman.
Marcella was a woman of many talents and passions, known for her unwavering kindness and gentle spirit. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to helping others, always putting their needs before her own. Her selflessness knew no bounds, and she always had an open-door policy for those in need.
Marcella grew up in a Baptist Church and gave her life to Christ at an early age. Later in life, she converted her faith to the Jehovah Witness but unwavering in her love for GOD. Marcella's humble and compassionate nature touched the hearts of countless individuals who sought solace and guidance through her words and actions.
Outside of her spiritual commitments, Marcella enjoyed a variety of hobbies including crossword puzzles and board games. Let's not forget her favorite pastime...shopping; QVC and Amazon to name a few. She also loved to hear a good riddle and looked forward to family gatherings to exchange a good riddle.
Marcella was also an avid reader and lifelong learner. She had an insatiable curiosity about the world and spent many hours exploring different subjects through literature and research. Her thirst for knowledge was infectious, and she encouraged others to embrace learning and expand their horizons.
Marcella leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and service. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her loving family, including her devoted children, Gail Fulton (Glen), Michelle Muse (Larry), Deborah Foster (Leroy) and Daryl Tiggle (Christie); her adoring grandchildren, Brian, Quiara, Rachelle, Quianna, Jerry and Daja; great grandchildren: Aniyah, Kylie, Ameras, Enzo; and her beloved siblings, Al Henry, Purcell and Sadie. She also leaves behind a multitude of family, friends and acquaintances whose lives were forever changed by the gift of knowing her.
The loss of Marcella Tiggle is nothing short of a tragedy, as the world has lost a bright light. Her spirit will continue to inspire all those who were lucky enough to know her, reminding them to live with kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
