Marcus Cooks, beloved son of Marcelto Cooks Sr and Sue Cooks, was born on August 9, 1997 in Columbus, Georgia. He departed this world on April 21, 2024, following a tragic car accident.

Marcus attended Shaw Highschool high school and proudly graduated in 2016. He went on to serve in the Army as a Corporal, where he displayed remarkable dedication and courage.

Outside of his military service, Marcus had a passion for football and could often be found on the field, giving his all for his team. His competitive spirit and love for the game were truly unrivaled.

Although Marcus did not have children of his own, he was a cherished member of his family and community. His infectious laughter and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Marcus's memory. Rest in peace, dear Marcus. You will never be forgotten.
