Marcus A. "Mark" Kunstleben, 74Avon, MNAug. 8, 1942 - May 27, 2017Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Anna for Marcus A. "Mark" Kunstleben, age 74, of Avon, who passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Gregory Mastey will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery with full military honors. Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday all at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Anna. Parish prayers will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph.Mark was born on August 8, 1942 in St. Martin Township, to Frank and Alma (VanHoorik) Kunstleben. He served honorably in the United States Army. Mark married Geraldine Pyka on June 28, 1969 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Opole. He was employed at Electrolux for over 40 years and also farmed all of his life. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Albany American Legion #Post 482.Mark enjoyed a drive through country and helping others. He especially loved all the time spent with his family.He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; children, Lisa (Shawn) Hoppe of Long Prairie, Jacqueline (Tom) Biniek, of Avon, Jeff, Jason, Gail, Chad, Kunstleben, all of Avon, Ashley (Josh Krueger) Kunstleben; grandchildren, Andrew, Ericka and Kinley; siblings, Richard Kunstleben, Lorraine Heinen, Mary Jane (Nick) Zeimetz all of Albany, Bernice (Gerald) Hartung of Freeport, Robert Kunstleben of Holdingford and John (Lois Theilen) Kunstleben of Grey Eagle; and sister-in-law, Bernice Kunstleben of Albany.Mark was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brothers, Elizabeth, Alvin, Alphonse, Ronald; and brother-in-law, Arnold Heinen.Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have expressed their sympathies and offered support during this difficult time.
