It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Marcus Billings, who passed away on May 15th, 2023 at the young age of 54.

Marcus was born on May 8th, 1969, in Atlanta, Georgia, where he grew up and spent most of his life. A notorious jokester with an infectious laugh, Marcus was loved by those who knew him and will be missed dearly.

Despite his love for laughter, Marcus had a serious side, too. He was a dedicated employee at the local bank, where he worked for over 30 years and made many lifelong friends.

In his free time, Marcus enjoyed tending to his garden, watching the Braves play, and spending time with his beloved dog, Rufus. He was also an avid cook and loved to host elaborate dinner parties for his friends and family.

Although we will miss Marcus dearly, we are comforted in knowing that he is now reunited with his parents and brother, who preceded him in death.

In honor of Marcus's memory, his family asks that you donate to your local animal shelter in lieu of flowers. Rest in peace, Marcus, and thank you for the endless laughs and memories.
