Margaret Bess AndersonPiggott, ARMargaret Bess Anderson, 70, of Piggott, Arkansas, formerly of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away August 2, 2017, at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on August 17, 1946, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Agnes Black Woolfolk. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kenneth Andrew Woolfolk. She retired from the City of Memphis after working many years for the Memphis Zoo and worked for Home Depot since its opening in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Piggott, Arkansas. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Bageant and husband Harry of Piggott, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Megan Anderson of Memphis, Tennessee, James Garrett Daniels of Piggott, Arkansas, Emily Daniels of Piggott, Arkansas, Chelsea Bageant of Clarksville, Tennessee, Terry Bageant of Beaverton, Oregon, and David Bageant of Beaverton, Oregon; five great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Joann Loerch and husband Randy of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, August 4, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with the funeral service immediately following with Allen Vaughn officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Harry Bageant, Heath Loerch, Scott Loerch, Devin Loerch, Tyler Joiner, and Cory Eben.
