Margaret Geneva (Clemons) Moore, 65Muncie - Margaret Geneva (Clemons) Moore, 65, passed away on Saturday evening, May 27, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family.She was born on February 5, 1952, in Cookeville, Tennessee, the daughter of Alfred and Kathleen (Johnson) Clemons and was a member of the first family to settle Tennessee. On December 31, 1999, in Muncie, she married Hubert Gordon Moore, Jr.Geneva loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; enjoyed watching football, NASCAR and gardening.Surviving are her husband, Hubert Gordon Moore, Jr. of Muncie; four children, Sheryl Woodruff of Muncie, Kimberly L. Papa (husband, John) of Muncie, Susan Beatty (husband, Dennis) of Selma and Kevin Jackson (wife, Tatiana) of Muncie; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Hunter (husband, Jim) of Muncie; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Derrick Jackson and Lance Corporal Brandon Duncan; and her aunt who helped raise her, Carrie Jones.Family and friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.meeksmortuary.com.
